I need to know from an expert, I am starting a new winter project and the easiest way to mount the engine would be upside down, I see no problem with it as the oil is mixed in with the gas so it'll still be as lubricated and just as cool but I want to make sure, It's an 80cc engine, BTW.

Yeah it will work upside down. You will see many, many Airplanes with two strokes mounted upside down and they never have problems with them. I'm no expert though, but just something i have noticed. Hope it helps.

it should run just fine upside down. Motocross bikes have been doing backflips for a while now and no one ever has a flameout when they invert it. The only problem they do see is the carb bowl gets foamy and causes a bog here and there. So if you can mount the motor upside down, and the carb right side up.....you'd be golden.

Whatcha building?

Sweet, sounds like I'm good to go.

I'm putting an engine on my bicycle, it's got a full shock'd frame so not that space between the top and bottom bars like a normal bicycle so I'm just going to mount it upside down on the main bar.

It will run fine. One possible problem is flooding. If the carb sticks and pours gas in, it can fill up the cylinder. When you go to start it, the piston will hit the puddle of gas, which can bend the connecting rod.
