So how many here go by what the recipe says or just measure the ingredients with your eyes?
Most of the stuff we make does not have a recipe it was handed down in the family and we just start adding the ingredients till it looks right it still comes out tasting the same.

I never use a recipe. I can go to a restaurant, have a meal, and make it exactly the same at home.
