can you be two (fail) safe ?

i was running a throttle/brake failsafe in a baja but i just ordered a modified pico failsafe cause i like the idea of shutting down the engine when something goes horribly wrong with the radio system. my question is , can i run both failsafe in tandem ? i was thinking if you lost signal opr bat. power it would shut down the motor and also hit the brakes since you would'nt have that luxury (brakes) if you lost signal. thanks for the input

Yes you can do that if you wanted. I just run the picco now and scrapped the fail safe. Kill the engine and it will stop before too long. My throttle servo failed on me leaving the sucker WOT so my "failsafe" could not work. That is when I bought the picco kill switch. That sucker will NEVER do that to me again.....Ever. Ever you hear me! never ever ....sorry...still pissed over having to chase it down. At least I could still steer though.

i ditched the servo failsafe. be carefull with setting full brake on the failsafe. by the time you get up to it the servo may be shot.

good advise as always, i did'nt think about frying the servo. i'll find some other use for that failsafe then. hey itsalife... , i gotta say "thanks" - from some of your post and some answered questions you sortta talked me into getting a 1/5 scale , i never had so much fun out of rc's as i do now. big and black-it's beautiful lol tks man
