I have a new 3.3 Maxx and I read all this about CVD's. I know they are driveshafts, but what's the deal with them, and who makes the best, and what's the advantage?

cvds are better because they dont rattle around as much and transfer power to the wheels smoother, the best part is, if you crash hard, your driveshafts wont fall out, I'm tired, so this is a quick explaination, I'm sure someone else can explain it better....charlie???

traxxas makes a set for the maxx's i have them on my 3.3 (4909) i have 3 gallons on them with no problems.

alot of people make them, they replace the plastic slider shafts with metal which is more durable. they have a cup and socket connection as opposed to a yolk which transfers the power more smoothly.
