I have a new revo 3.3 and I'm sad to hear that i can't even run this thing in wet grass!this is my first nitro so sorry if this sounds retarded but i would love to make this thing waterproof. if its just the electricals i need to worry about, thats fine, I've run plenty of electric models, but i heard the problem is moisture getting to the engine via the two stage air filter setup. how can i solve this and get to some mud thrashing? thanks in advance for anyones help with this. i drove my revo all the way up to the block on the engine. turn the exhaust up and snorkal the airfilter

The bearings in the diffs and wheels do not like the water. The water will push all the grease out of them and as soon as the water dries the bearings will rust and freeze up. I learned my lesson. While being in the mud is fun. Having to replace alot of stuff afterwords is not.

With proper maintinance, you wont have to worry about ur stuff rusting. clean it, grease where needed. its not that complicated.

And before someone starts bitching about them being electric..... its basicly the same thing.. Just gotta keep the carb out of the water with nitro. but yes, all drive parts can be submurged including bearings...... and diffs....
