Ok, since i got the mc-9 glow plug i have to warm my savage 25 up with the glow igniter in it at about half throttle or else it shuts off. I really need to know before my next run!!!!!!!!!!!!!:ponder2:

Well is the MC-9 plug the correct plug or a the right plug for the s-25 engine,i would call your lhs and ask them,If it is the right plug, check your idle and or lsn, they may be outta whack.

I got it from my local hobby shop, they reccomended it for the cooler weather.

I would run a hotter plug. In my hotbodies 26 (pretty much the same engine) I ran a mc 59. There is nothing wrong with warming your truck up before you start running it hard, its actually a good idea.

I wouldn't run the MC-9 in that engine. I recommend the O.S. 8 Glow plugs for that one.

Some people at the hobby shops tune by changing the glow plugs rather than needle adjustments.

On top of that, it sound really rich on the HSN. Try leaning it out a little bit at a time until it runs correctly.

If you don't have a temp gun, I'd suggest getting one.

It seems like as the outside temp goes up the less time i have to spend warming it up for it to run by itself.

I have it about half a turn from factory settings. As soon as i started leaning it out it did huge wheelies. Also, when i first got it it ran better with the stock plug and i didn't have to warm it up even though it was like 4 degrees outside. I only put a hair dryer on it.
