to see it when the tank is going empty. I'm runnning blue thunder but i am about out of it and it's a 4 hour drive total to where i got this.

my lhs carries o'donnels and i plan on switiching to it, but i heard that it is clear formula.

so can i add a few drops of food coloring to it to enable seeing the levels in the gas tank?

o'donnell fuel is clear isn't it?

yeah, bad... It might rust your crankcase or piston or something..... i JUST switched from MHP to Odonnell and I've ran my car once since. I can't really tell the diff cuz My car is acting up. I can't get it to run after i shut it off once and it is SOOOOO hard to start even with a fully charged ignitor and box. woops... got carried away.

i heard someone say that the carb needs to be reset to factory when using a different fuel and let it run softly around the yard or wherever your at for 2 tanks.

I would have to agree and say not to put food cloring in your fuel. If you want to know when your fuel level is getin low while you are runnin, you could make a "float" switch. When the fuel gets to a pre-set level it would turn on a light on the outside of the truck to let you know to fuel up.

I run odonnel and can see it fine. It looks a little yellow.

why not get clear or yellow transparent tubing? I use Odonnels ans I can see it fine

my tanks are all getting cloudy any way...I just figured out how to use the timer on my Tx.....I can get about 7-8 mins of hard driving out of a tank on my XB8 and 10-13 on my P2...I haven't really timed my fantom yet....I use that as my guide to when I need fuel......

So I caught my boyfriend using gas out of my trucks gas tank on the back. Is there a way I can safely dye the gas so I Can check his car next time my tank goes empty?
