what do you guys think a good selling price for a bone stock savage would be, with a 24.7 pro(only run 3 times) engine in it(my neighbor wants to buy mine and he doesn't agree with me on the price i have stated , so i thought he would respond to all of your guys in put on this. :2cents:

Savage 21 or 25 would matter to me and what radio equipment and hop ups etc. I would probably offer you like $300-$325 for it.

first of all, how much did you tell him?? that could help so we could tell you if it was too high or too low. and newnitrofan, he already said it was bone stock. just lettin you know. and metallicamaxx, you could look on ebay to see how much they are goin for too. I'm not really sure how much they go for used now.

ok a regular savage is nearly 400 and the .25 is supposed to be near $430 so 350 would be good

I don't know where you guys are shopping at but a brand new rtr25 can be had for less than $375 if you know where to look. Now with that said there's no way in hell that I'd give up that kind of money for a used truck.

Definately. You see it on e-bay time and time again people selling their used RC for nearly what they put into it. Face it, it's used. You are not going to generally even get 50% of what you put into it. I'm not doubting you about only having 3 tanks run through your 24/7 but any potential buyer needs to accept the fact that there are people out there that will omit that during break in, the engine siezed and then the buyer is stuck with a lemon.

Sure you can leave negative feedback on places like here or e-bay but the seller has the cash and the buyer has the broken POS. Sure you could very well have sunk a ton of cash into your truck but I highly doubt if you've only added a 24/7 that you'll see more than $300.

If you don't believe me look at Woodie's Savage he sold on e-bay and everything he added to the sale and he only got $390 for his savage.

I agree totally with Mr. Pirate, if you get an offer of $300 or more, take it and run.:moped:
