Well I just switched to BWD (Billet Works Design) U-Locks. They are just one of a very few that are super light.

Onto some pics...

I got mine in white delrin.

They are .5 inches wide.

The sickest thing about them is that they use a 1/4 spacer to adjust the width and or the offset. It can be mounted on the front or the back or more than one on either side!

U Lock with rings and hardware, no spacers.

I'm running one spacer on the outside of each, front and back. Wich means I am running for .75 wide rims.

White Rover with an F400 untouched.

Installed.

With the 1/4" spacer on the outside on my Bully axles, with Rovers I have a tire to tire width of right at 10", perfect.

Those are sweet.

I think they are too Rob, I wish they were around when I had my berg.

6 lb 13 oz...no added wieght.

Do they make them in a 1.9? If they do do you have a link? Thanks.

man those thangs are alot nicer than i thought, look good on your rig too man, i may hvae to try a set of those when santa comes to town :D

Definatly, I like them better than SLW's personally, plus their cheaper. I wish he would come out with different colored bead rings, black preferably...He prolly will soon enough.

You could always paint them or have them powder coated:D

what's the purpose to lighter wheels if everyone's putting weight in them? Or is it because they're narrow?

A lighter rig is better for the fact that you can place weight where you want it. They are more agile and more predictable. So if you can have a 5 lb rig before adding any weight, you can easily add a little bit of wieght to where you want it without making it a tank. For me, running Bully axles, I started off with a heavy rig, Bully axles are very heavy stock so it take a lot of little things to get down to a good weight.
