Hey, I was just wondering why you cannot buy fuel by the gallon on tower hobbies. All I can find is Quart, Wholsale Quarts, and Wholesale Gallons. Is it possible to just buy one gallon from them? Thanks

the hazardous materials surcharge would kill you in shipping for 1 ,i am sure thtas the reason they do not sell gallons besides the 1 hatman gave you the link for

Hazmat fees. (Hazardous materials)
It's usually $30. That's for ONE gallon, or a truckload. That's why hobby shops get a lot at a time, because the fee is absorbed by getting many cases in each order. If they order one gallon, it would cost you about $20 + a $30 fee. $50 a gallon. If they get 10 gallons, it's an extra $3 a gallon retail. 100 gallons, and it's only and extra 30 cents each.
There is no Hazmat fee for quarts.

Yes Rolex is on the right track. Shipping HAZMAT's is rediculous. We've had to pay almost $150 for a $10 can of sealants because of the category they fall into. The cost on Nitro would just be rude, not only for shipping costs but packing materials. I think they get away with the quarts by the size falling under the "limited quantities" title.
