RC Driving Style
After taking the winter off and thinking about some things to make my rc scream even faster...I think to myself..."Self, how about butane." Has anyone ever tried or thought about butane injection into a nitro engine? Anyone with any ideas, let me know, I plan on trying this in the near future...
 
Try it out and let us know. I've never heard of anyone trying butane on a nitro engine before. If I were you I wouldn't go testing it out on your favorite engine or anything.
How are you going to inject it? How are you going to inject it when you want? What are you going to use to set it off?
 
i personally wouldnt play with that.... butane has a tendency to blow the hell up =) but thats just me. happy experimentation
 
Hmmm sounds like some small experiments would be in order before testing even on a car. If you have to do it keep a fire extinguisher near by and do it in a supervised place. Workbench would be best. I'd be interested to know your results.
 
Yeah, I dont think playin with Butane is a wise idea... You didn't happen to make
this video over the winter, did ya?

I guess mixing alcohol & bleach, is NOT a good idea... lol Shaking it up was just plain stupid.... That dumba$$ might just be feeding through a straw these days....
 
Before you start, you will need to find a way to keep a constant flow of oil the internal parts of the motor, Second learn how to stop, drop, and roll.
I was thinking of gun powder injection. What do you think?

I just when back and looked at that vid!! I hope that kid was ok, cause that was quite the BOOM!
Plus, I hope he's ok, cause i'm laughing my ass off. (guilt)

That would be cool if you saw his little digits flying all over the place LOL...

That biringd to mind the time my father sitting in his easy chair indian style. He was trying to see how high he could get the flame to go.

So he stuck the butane canister on the bottom of the lighter to fill it as he was adjustting the flame.



With a whoosh the flame engulfed him head to toe in a nice blue glow. My dad turned into a perfect image of a Blue Flaming Buddah, all indian style in his underwear. It only burned for a second or two, and ended with a little poof, and a tuft of smoke from the singed hair.

His eyebrows, beards and hair all grew back. I never laughed so hard in my life. He wasn't amused LMAO
 
I would pay some serious coin to have that caught on film.
 
WOW, just watched the video. You KNOW that dude got hurt. Maybe next time they'll try Hydrogen Peroxide and Nitroglycerine.
Well, actually they probably won't need the Peroxide.
Then again, they can use it after they dig the glass out, to clean their wounds.
 
Holy crap he full on went after that with shaking the bottle and yeah that ooohh didn't sound so damn good. I would suffice it to say he is missing a few digits and is scarred for life.
 
That was just plain stupid. If there wasn't a few stupid clowns out there what would we talk about.
