Hey,

I wanted to know how you burn like CDs like of files or something of that sort. Is it possible to copy the files of the CD you want to burn, put them in a seperate folder, click "Burn to disk" and then insert a blank disk?

Thanks,
Spit

This would totally depend on what burning program you are using. Nero, CDRwin, EZCD, etc..

You must first have a CD/DVD burner and the software to use it.
With Win XP, you will insert a blank disk and your software should open up and ask what you would like to do. At this point tell it you want to make a data CD. Most softwares will give you an Explorer like interface where you will choose the files that you want to burn. Choose them, or drag and drop them into the window. Once you are done, click the burn button.

The process may be different depending on the software you have but most of them are close to the same.

W/ my XP I can do it through Window Explorer.....just the way Ed said...but it's all done in Windows....I never loaded any burning sofware, just the driver...

you can also right click and "send to" the cd rom drive in win xp. then go to the cd-rw, you should see the files you sent there, then click on "burn these files to cd."

Okay...thanks. FastEddy, I have a burner because I've burnt CDs from Itunes and for CDs that I've bought but don't want to scratch up. I thought you could do it through WE, but I didn't want to waste a CD on trying.
