Bulkheads ?

What kind of replacement bulkheads do you all suggest me using in my t-maxx? the stock ones are broke from a head on with a mail box going about 40mph?
Would you suggest aluminum or the rpg ones?
Money is kinda low!!:violin:

I think you meant RPM bulks... Unfortunately RPM doesn't make bulkheads for the Tmaxx. I would recommend the Traxxas Al. bulks with a good set of braces.

I have been bashin the hell out of the Traxxas Al. bulkheads w/Hardcore braces for awhile now. Haven't seen any damage yet... I do recommend always using the stock plastic bumper mounts. This is your cushion....

I run Hardcore Racing Bulkheads and Braces...and anything else I can afford. They make some good quality parts. They are a bit pricey, but worth every penny.

Remember, in this hobby cheap is not always good...sometimes you get what you pay for, and that may mean crap.

You could always get the stock replacements...cost effective. Add that to your recent lesson on what not to do with your truck...and they may last longer.

I would get the stock ones again. But get the RPM bulkhead braces to go with them. I really like mine. I also put longer screws threw the bumper mounts/bulkheads/braces. I kept bending my stock ones and it was a pain to get them out. Heres a couple small pics that might give you a ruff idea what I did.

Unfortunately the stock plastic bulks will almost always break in a hard glancing front crash at warp speed. Obviously the stock plastic suspension components are part of the T Maxx weaknesses. Just about any aluminum bulks are better than the stock plastic ones. You may also want to convert the a arms to RPM or Proline if you haven't already. I use both the Hardcore aluminum bulks with the titanium braces and the Powerline bulks with the RPM braces. Problem is any good upgrade adds up in a hurry.
