After busting the bulkhead 2 times I was becoming frustrated. I picked my brain for a couple of days and this is what I came up with. This is just a rough cut to see if it will actually work. If you look at the pictures, you will see that I used the unused holes on the top of the bulk. I drove 3mm caphead scews down through the top of the bulk. As you can see the upper holes of the shock tower are now unused. I've droped the wing and mounted it using the the lower 2 holes in the shock tower and both holes in the bulk. This lowers the center of gravity and will reduce the stress on the bulk. I'm gonna give it a try over the weekend and will post the results.
I know I probably missed something, so just ask if you have any questions.

Pics are in my gallery. I just can't figure out why I can't post them in the thread..

Here ya go, just thought I'd help out with the posting of your bulkhead fix. BTW, looks good to me! I'd say it's an A1 "Jerry rig"

Thanks Diver. But I still need to learn to do that on my own. It always says pic is to large.

All I did was go to your gallery, clicked on the pic, did a right click to get the properties, then copied the "locationa" in the element properties window. Once you have that click on the "img" button when you're about to post (3rd button on the second row just below the message icons) and paste the url from where the pic is located. VOILA! there ya go

Excellent Job RR! when do you start production? I would like to order two from you!
nice fix!

posting pics in the thread is easier if you compress your photos down first, dosnt change the Image and dosnt use up so much space in your gallery, this=more posting space

Careful what you say about zip ties, the King of zipties is always watching!

Nice work RoadRash. Now just polish that badboy up to a gleaming shine and go out and get it dirty! :D

When are you going to give i t a good testing?

NM, If you really want 1 or 2, I can make them up and mail them to you. I just need time. I'm in the process of movig at the moment. Or if you have a hack saw and drill you could make them up yourself..

RoadRash!!!! Hmm.. I like that. Keep using that in the future. As for the testing, ImBroken is supposed to give me a call this evening. We're gonna try to hook up over the weekend. Are you interested??

"RoadRash" Geez, musta been a bad batch of drugs when I typed that! :D Oh, you liked it!?!? Er, so RoadRash... let me know what you're gonna do. Got my Mad Force and a .21 T-Maxx ready to roll on the nitro end. My Storm is down for the moment.

Here goes... I wound up running alone today (the woman came along too). After pounding my Storm through all sorts of abuse and punishment, to my surprise, the bulkhead remained in 1 piece. I landed upside down, sideways, cartwheels, you name it. I managed to burn about 7 or 8 tanks of fuel.. The only damage done today was a blown out bladder in one of the rear shocks, a small crack in the wing, and I lost one of the E-clips that hold the wing on.
If you've ever broken a bulk on your Storm, I would highly recommend doing this mod. I know some may say it looks cheesy, but it will keep you running all day.

BBW, sorry I never got back to you. I never heard from ImBroken and was'nt sure myself as to what I was doing. I kinda just did this on a whim.

uhh, yes, I would like to order a set,, in red anodized to match my Dynamite parts! Thank you! LOL! Nice fix, glad it worked well for ya! my new bulks will be here tomorrow or tues, can't wait!

I can make them if you could anodize them.. LOL! I gotta say, it was nice to come home for once with my Storm in 1 piece!

Sorry I didn't hear from you guys about bashing but TJ said he was too busy to get time to play. His wife and job have been cracking the whip on him lately. :whip:

Glad to hear the fix worked and when I do get my Storm back in action (Mad Force has kinda made all others obsolete right now) I will attemp your fix. If I fail miserably, I'll help you finance your manufacturing facilities. :D
