Buggy Envy, I'm getting ready HELP!

I'm seriously wantin a 1/8 buggy that really flies but also bounces back! (the second part is very important, as I do run very rough out here in the desert of Nuevo Mexico).

My first thought are an RTR from Kyosho, like an MP7.5.

I've read alot of threads about the Kainai II's and III's. Are they worth the cash? 700 plus bucks and no radio, engine and servo's. But if they are worth it then hey! I'll just work some OT!

Then I checked out the MUGEN! Looks hot! But again no radio engine or servos... This may be the "Billy Baddass" though?

Also team Ofna has a RTR buggy that's not in the same price range. Only like $350 or so. Maybe not the BAD BOY of the junk yard though?

And Hott Bodies has thier 1/8 buggy with the .21 thats cheap. (inexpensive)?

So I think I should get some advice, and prepare to spend the cash if needed (worth the cash)! What is the "King-O-Da-Hill"?

1/8 scale envy, but I DO want to jump in with some Top-O-Line hardware!

I'm don't like the Kyosho Sports rtr. The Kanaii editions are worth the money. But if I was to buy one now, I'd go with the Mugen MBX-5. It's a very good buggy and it's less than the Kanaii. For more info on the mugen go to www.rc411.com which is eXtreme RC mag. They did a feature on it a few months ago.

it's catchy isn't it! Buggies rule supreme in my book. It's hard to say who is the king of the hill and any given time when the top buggies are so close.

Look at these if you want the best and most expensive

Mugen MBX5
ThunderTiger EB4 S2
Hoabao Hyper 7 PCR (Ofna)
GS Storm Pro and the new Avenger (when it comes out lates this month) Good luck and happy hunting. The order I listed them is the order my brain thought of them not saying any is better than the other. I really liked the MBX 5 and it was new so I bought it. I loved my Storm Pro though. Now I find myself wanting to try the Avenger.:radio: when will it all end?

X-Cellant! Thunder Tiger? (Thats a new prospect) I too like the looks (features) of the mugen MBX5. With a Picco .26? Ummm what do you guy's think of that?

I personally wouldn't discount most of the rtrs out there. At least not the storm and the inferno. Both of mine have taken more punishment than most people put them through and mine keep coming back for more.
