I'm personally a big nitro fan. yea they have very fast electric cars but the thing is even if you carry 10 or 15 batterys around there still all gunna die and take for ever to charge up again. but with nitro you can go all day long and the gas lasts longer than a battery. but switching to electric also mNO MORE TUNING!!! lol

uhhhh. does your RX pack run on nitro too?

just wondering... because if so... let us in on your secret!!

A 1600-1700 receiver pack lasts a good long while. Two or three of those can get you through a whole day. Just run until the servos get slugggish or your failsafe kicks in then change out the battery. Unless you want to pay top dollar for a few Li-Po batteries you are going to need a load of batteries to run a few hours with a hot electric set up.

but arent double a's just a little bit lighter to carry to carry around than 7.2 volt batteries.

Receiver packs are small (fits in the palm of your hand) and they are mostly 5 cell packs, and lighter than using AA's and best of all, they are rechargeable instead of replacing or charging 4/5 AA's you can simply charge the one pack instead.

ok maybee ur right but I'm not a big fan of electric cars ne way so it really dont matter

ya but being green is the same as being politically correct, and it will only lead to TROUBLE. lol. batteries have their place, but its just not the same as a fuel burner. and i ve never had electrics smell good like Nitro or Klotz does. you smell an electric, your smelling your motor getting cooked.
