That's the one. I've been doing updates and cleanups since I did the reinstall of the OS, and that thing got in. I can't get it out.
Nothing works, even when it tells me it's been done.
 
Yes, it's a virus that enters along with a download of another program, usually some freeware. I missed this one since I had so much updating to do.
I did the uninstall, and it was still there, even though it was no longer showing in programs. Malwarebites Pro couldn't find a problem and neither could Avast.
I got it out of IE without too much trouble, it didn't get into Chrome, but FireFox is my default browser and nothing I did would get it out. I fought with it for about 3 hours then found another way in. It's done. It's gone.

Randy, that second link is the one that I found after trying a dozen others. Now I have to reinstall all my Firefox settings and addons.

Damn, I hate computer hackers. I'm fully in favor of having their hands removed.

If you did that, some of us wouldn't be able to clean, polish and wax our RCs....
