I'm positive this thread has been done before, but I failed to turn it up on the search.... I'm an idiot and I apologize up front and stuff.

Okay, I'm looking for more of a truggy type setup for track usage. I've got a 2.5 chassis with a 3.3 and the stock close-ratio 2spd FOC.

I should have measured which wheel I'm running right now... but I didn't. Let's call it "Size Large" with what I believe are 40 series Bow Tie pins. The truck is a hoot bashing around the yard, chasing the neighbors nasty little kid back into his own yard (I'm gonna take a dump in his yard the next time I catch him pissing by my heat pump) and carving a groovy drift around the ball diamond. On the track it really feels the weight of spinning those big wheels up out of the corners.

I know it's not a stadium truck and it's not going to be, I was just looking to sport it up a bit and so forth.

Slap some some Baja 5B wheels and tires on it:D

can't get much better then bow ties or crime fighters on the track. i haven;t heard much about the axial cubez but they look like they could perfrom also.

have bowties on 17mm proline rims with the ofna adapters and wow i went from the "talons" to these and WOW what a difference best money ever spent

I wanted to get rid of the Stock 14mm plastic crap on my revo, so I went to the LHS and asked for opinions. He ordered up some 17mm traxxas hubs and solid dish wheels. They have arrived, but he now tells me I can't use anything but Traxxas tires on these wheels. If I would have known this I would have ordered Proline wheels... I want to use Proline 40 series bowties. will they work ? Does Traxxas have a tire that is as good ? Maybe the Traxxas Response ? I want low profile, and should have researched more before buying.
please help.

Basically I'm in need of Tires that will slide out a bit and not grip in and flip me over... It seems like the Talons grip in and have so much tire roll.

I would like to be able to turn on grippy surfaces and not Flip over.

I know this is odd... While others are looking for Traction, I'm looking to get rid of some of it.

How do the Maxx tires work.. I hear the Chevron style tires might be more my style.

any suggestions ///
