i don't know if this has happened to anyone or how it happened but i changed my tires on my revo today, and the one of the front hexs was cracked. i don't understand how it broke though because this revo has been in the snow with never any major crashes (actully hardly any at all) the only time do they sell metal ones and if so will they just strip the wheel.
 
Yeah there are all kinds of aluminum ones out there. I have not seen a wheel get striped out because of one, it could happen i guess but it could happen with plastic one too.
 
Loose wheel will stripe the plastic hex. Get yourself aluminum or titatium set. It is not very expensive anyway. IMO, it is a nice upgrade.
