RC Driving Style
my friend has a t-maxx 2.5 and we were driving today and his t-maxx burned out, but only the front wheels were spining. and when we spun one of the back wheels and that drive shaft spun and the others didn't and the same on the other side. but if we spun the back wheels together the front wheels would not move and there supose to.
whats wrong?

sounds like maybe ya cooked the diff ..or did you break the drive shaft to the trans?

Check the drive shafts as Rob D said. They are underneath the chassis between the two braces. There is one that goes to a "round thing" (Differential) from the center. One goes to the front and one to the back. Those are easily broken. My friends T-Maxx broke the rear, and he managed to kill a front 2 days later. The parts for it was only 6-7 bucks for a pair. That was enough to fix the back and then the front when it went. Ask you LHS on how to put them together if that's what happened. They are a pain, if they are a good shop, they'll explain it. We took it apart to do it, but we love that kind of thing :)

If it's not broke, you may have fried the differential. As for that, time to consult the manuals and break it apart and find what went wrong. First time was scary for me with my RC10, but now I actually like to do it :)

If those driveshafts are broken consider getting MIP shiny CVD'S. Strong, light, durable. Very good upgrade.
