Ok,

Did a large jump over a fence onto a tarmac road......1st time I tried I landed plum on top of the fence and took a large chunk out of it (the fence that is). No damage to Sav....

The 2nd time I almost cleared it but just caught the rear wheel and it bounced a lot...no damage....

3rd attempt cleared it by about a foot landed on all 4 wheels on the tarmac....and ground to a halt....

Somehow I've managed to bend (upwards) the engine plate and the bars that it attaches to!! Anyone else managed this?? Any ideas for stronger replacement parts??

Oh and the spur gear and clutch bell are knackered too.

Pics?? Always nice to see a savage flying high. How tall was the fence you were jumpin?

No pics unfortunately....the fence wasn't that high, only about 5-6 feet but it was the distance needed to the fence that was the problem I had to carry approximately 10 foot at 5 foot-ish high on very loose dirt to clear it! (oh and the drop the other side was a bit lower. Great fun...but costly i think.

He is referring to the purple alum plate with the 2 silver alum mounting bars.

I have bent one of bars up on one end slightly which caused the engine to shift a little. No damage to CB or Spur as a result of running it that way.
