any one know a good trick to get a broke front bearing out of a block?? the center and the balls are gone all that is there is the race and i can't get it out

Heat the block up. It should just fall out unless it seized and spun in it's bore.

i have heated up the block and it is stuck!! i also did not seize or spin in the bore. any other ideas? like i said the center of the bearing is gone all that is left is the outer race

Got a dremel tool? Get a carbide bit or a stone.Grind a grind a groove in 2 spots 180 apart stop just when your just about to hit the case it will relieve it enough so it will come right out .:D

no but i do have a mill and carbides for that so guess it may just end up in the mill lol

finally after like 6 hours of working on it got it out!!! came out in 2 chunks ended up borrowing a dremel and buying a carbide! had it paper thin and it still would not move or brake! ended up hearing the race up tell it was blue like 3 times and then it finally broke!
