Hi Guys and Gals

Yesterday I broke my aerial that I screw into my remote to gain extra range. It broke right at the base where it has been machine pressed into place, I have attempted to repair it.
This is what I did,

I put the broken part back into position
then wraped some gauze around it
then poured a whole heap of super glue into the gauze
let it dry
then filed the edges so it would fit into the hole to screw it in
Now that I have completed it is strong enough to stop falling off but will it still transmit the messages fine? I dont want to test it myself because my car servos don't have a failsafe, can anyone help me?

Thanks,
Jmacca

Oh, lol

well i came up with the idea when i broke a fishing rod and used that method to fix it, the rod hasn't broken again, not sure if the signal will still submit

Since you say servos, I'm guessing this is a nitro rig? Not that it matters. You can test it without the motor running. Just turn on the electrics and walk away from it. Keep testing your steer as that will be easiest to see as you walk away.

AH lol, Why diddn't i think of that! that should have been a commonsense answer to my predicament, and yes it is a Nitro rig
