What should I do, I would like to upgrade but I dont want to spend $65 on aluminum ones and I dont want to just replace with $8 stock ones, are there any that are inbetween?

My best advice that I could give you would be to replace them with the $8 stocks and install an transmission guard (not the traxxas upgrade). Your LHS should have something that pretty much covers the entire brace set. Mine cost me about $25 with tax.

i gotta set of rpm front and rear skids and tranny skid plus 2 sets of braces and front and rear skids ,ill sell ya for 25 shipped

I would suggest buying the stock ones and RPM skidplates to keep it from breaking

Thats a great deal too. Just the braces go for over 30 bucks on ebay!

Plaid thats a good deal! I think that the braces and the alum skid really ties the truck together.

I use the racers edge set up on mine cause the skid covers the whole bottom and it locks under the front and rear skid as well...I saw this earlier and figured I'd help a fellow member out
