Broke Header

Hey guys, i have broken two header pipes (5340) in the last couple months.Should i go with the 5340X this time? is it any stronger? And is this the right spring and gasket kit for that pipe?http://www.ebay.com/itm/Traxxas-525...Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5ae948e397

Also how r u breaking them? If its from crashing get a wing.

Not sure, probably just from landing i assume. There breaking right where the tube shape is welded to the mount plate or whatever u wanna call it. Right up close to the motor anyhow.

Yeah go with the spring header and never look back. I broke 3 of the bolt on style before changing and have never broken a spring loaded one.

i broke a few of them and so i welded one back together and never had a problem since

so i went to my LHS today and had both of them in my hand. I was comparing the 2 and the bend and the length of the bend was totally different. I didnt know and didnt have enough money for both so i just bought another bolt on for now.
