Broke again.

Well today I broke the Revo again. There was kinda thick grass and it was a lil sluggish. My buddy had his nephew mow and it was doing great untill it just lost all power. By power I dont mean the motor. I think I stripped the tranny gear out of it. The front and rear diffs turn as they should with no clicking or jerking. The truck will spin the tires when its off the ground, but when it hits the ground... nothing. The slipper and spur gear turn. I can see the whole shaft spin cause the end comes out the other side of the tranny. I guess I gotta tear it down and see whats up... yet more sad days. I dont think it likes the road rages on the wheels.

oh ok well scratch my next idea. . .i was asking cuz i stripped out my plastic ones. . .so i went with 23mm. . hehe, but n e hoo. . .so u shafts are spinning the wheels but it wont move when its on the ground. . .imo you prolly strippped sumtin in the tranny as u said

I'm procrastinating...lol I keep looking over at it.. I have 4 trucks I have to work on today. Jato, 2 Maxxes and the Revo. Havent decided which to start with.

I took the tranny out and the forward gear had came out of the one way bearing for the FOC. A pin had come out and allowed to to move. I cleaned the gears off. Took a hobby knife and cleaned the mesh up and it turns now. I'm gong to take it out in a lil and make sure its good.

well that didnt work. It started to move and then it gave up. Took the tranny back apart.. nothing was wrong. I checked the slipper and it was the same as yesterday. the shaft was spinning but no movement.

The screw pin on the forward only shaft broke.. thats the problem.
