It doesn't all need to be done at once. Providing you store it properly at the end of each tank you will be fine. Run each tank completely dry, store at bottom dead center, and a little after run oil wont hurt either.
thanx phins thats what i did oh and how rich should i be breaking in lots of white smoke n fule spitting is it ok to lean out slightly when breaking in or just leave as rich as posible
I would leave it rich as possible for the first and second tanks, then lean from there. I did my Ofna dm1 spec over two outings and I'm glad that I took my time.
ok so read the thread and car seems to be getting there done a load of heat cycles ........ now do i start leaning the hsn cr smokes and spluters on WOT but goes like stink :whhooo: when i leave glow egniter in is it a case of being very ritch

Your car has heavy smoke and sputters on a WOT pass, WITHOUT the ignitor. But, if you run with the ignitor it runs good?
I'm lost on the "goes like stink", is that good or bad? lol If what I wrote above is correct, try a new plug, during break in, plugs are known to go bad due to the excessive fuel and any other stuff that may get on the plug. If it still does it after you replace the plug, try leaning the HSN a little. Read the tuning chart, it's in one of the stickies in the Nitro section, ERCM has a good one in their section as well.
thanx yes goes like stink is good lol yeah the car is good with the igniter in and is running very rich with out i have the carb set rich as i have just broke the new engine in...
also if i lean the hsn out will i have to richen the lsn to compensate for the lower amount of fuel being suplied to the carb
