So I'm wondering whats the most common parts that break on a savage flux hp? So i know to order spars when i get the truck. Maybe things like spurs, or what ever part that is a common thing that breaks on the truck so i know to order spars with it.

Overall, it really is a very solid truck! The only things I've broken are bumper mounts (which I just leave broken) and lower a-arms. The spurs that the flux hp comes with are steel so no need to worry about that. I have run this thing hard and have taken some nasty high speed tumbles; I'm always amazed that its ok after inspection. I'm probably just breaking my bumper mounts from jumps (due to it weight).

So nothing extra i should buy just incase it breaks.

Best bet, bash it till you do break something, and buy two. It's hard to break a Savage.

Allright, as far as upgrades I'm thinking some phaltline's and the extension kit anything else that might be cool or help performance, i was thinking some threaded shocks but can't find any. open to sujestions and help finding parts. Thanks guys

I've been through 3 slipper pads so far. I've broken one shock cap. I've replaced the input gear on the inside of the transmission because the power wore it out but i havent been able to loosen the slipper at all. If i tighten it, then back it out it just ends up coming loose and ruining the slipper pads. So to compensate for that i tighten it all the way down after putting red loctite on it.

I'm finding out on both my Savages that the weight of them is bending the screws that hold the top of the shocks to the tower.

I honestly have broken very little but there was some frustration in the beginning with all the minor glitches.

I broke a shock cap on the Flux with the single big bores. I'm thinking about running all 8 small bores like the X has. I havent broken a shock on it yet. Or I guess i could run all 8 big bores

90 for a set of 4 bigbores from the site that mudsliger gave us.

Oh I forgot, upright sets seem to be a weak point. Very cheap to keep some extras on hand; keep them plastic though-upgrading to alums will cause more expensive or difficult things to change to break. And slipper pads will eventually wear out and are also cheap to keep extras.

Any one have a part number for the pads just so i can get them so i have them on hand.
