BReaking in the engine

i need to beak in my engine, it says to run 3 tanks through it at idle, but let it cool down completely each time, would i put after run oil in after each tank full and how do i go about puting in a drop of oil???? take the cooling head and glow plug off??

If you are doing the break in all in one day then you don’t need to worry about ARO. You do need to make sure the piston is at the bottom of its stroke though. This is known as bottom dead center.

ARO is only needed when you are through for the day.

Remove the air filter and put a couple of drops in the carb. Slide the carb back and forth to ensure coverage.

Remove the glow plug and put 4-5 drops down the plug hole. Work the piston up and down to ensure coverage.

If you have trouble getting the ARO down the plug hole, you can attach a piece of spare fuel tubing on to the end of the ARO bottle and use it like a funnel into the plug hole.

Easiest way: take off glow plug, move flywheel until piston is at BDC, mark flywheel with Sharpie. When you want to put it at BDC just put the marked flywheel at the place you marked it for BDC
