i lost my nitro-star 25 book that explains the break in procedure and all i remember is let it idle for a tank. what are the other steps? thanks for your time. and i have another question after break in do you have to mess with the idle, low speed, and high speed needles? if you do, what do i do?

thanks, mark

According to the manual you let it idle for a tank, on the next tank you need to clear out the engine. Do this by slowly opening the throttle to you reach full RPMs. That'll get the excess oil out of your engine. Then for two tanks you are supposed to run in in circles going slow. After that, drive slowly leaning out the HSN at 1/8 incriments each tank until you get smooth power. Your LSN doesn't always need to be adjusted but in some cases it might. The idle screw will need to be adjusted only if your engine will not idle high enough or too high.

wow...that sounds alot easier than the break-in procedure of the t-maxx. I had a hard time getting my t-maxx tuned out. It was a headache, which is why it went BYE BYE.
