Well not so much the break in but, i swear my buddys maxx is testing me. So i sealed the motor and swapped all the bolt ons from the other motor and was all ready to break it in today. He came over and we got all ready and wouldnt not turn over after heat and everything, just turned a lil like the ez start battery was weak but it wasn't. So i pulled the motor back out and put the pull start on it.As i pulled the ez start off the ground terminal fell apart that pluggs to the motor. Ok so now were ready again, NOPE. Got one tank through it and as we went for tank two i noticed fuel all over. Seems somehow the carb body was broke and or stripped where the hsn assembly screwed into. So nothing big but that dam truck has done that to me since the day he bought it. Just little things everytime. Unlike my Revo!! Well sorry just had to tell someone how that truck frustrates me! Thanks for listening and sorry to waste ur time.

It will eventually come to an end. It may take replacing everything on the rig one piece at a time like mine did but i eventually came out on top. Just remember to walk away when getting frustrated with it and take a break. Come back to it after you have thought it through.

1 of the biggest pains for me was getting it to run when it was tuned so dam rich. It almost got the best of me a few times. Between that and how tight the P/S set are during breakin I'm surprised the truck made it thru breakin as I was ready to throw it more than once. Be patient!! It can only get better.............eventually!:)

Thanks for the support!! I have already been through just about every piece on that truck. Was a stock 4910 now a complete 4907. All the big problems like the axles and things are takin care of, just all the little things now.

or in Z's case after you pick up some more beer

I've had the same problems one thing after another :/

Well i didnt want to just come out and say to get drunk and try again but seems to work pretty good for me! Lol

took your advice and started slamming beers!!! Shes all broke in now and running like a champ.. Sure glad u guys are here:hehe:

Cheers mate! Now celebrate and drink another for me. I'm taking a break from the booze for a few days now. Got stuff to oversee tomorrow around the house. Finally having a 20kw generator and a 250 gallon propane tank installed on the house. Getting really tired of the 4 hour power outages every week. Woohoo!

Yeah but they seem to only happen at night so can't see to run then. Plus the neighbors would probably start complaining. With it as quiet outside where i live when the power is out you could hear these things ripping across the yard for a few miles. Lol

Dont have any electric rigs yet. All nitro baby!! Thinking about getting a losi xxx-scb from the hs. Its only $199 and looks like it would be a pretty fun short course buggy to bash around.
