Is it just me our did hpi quality fly right out the window on this thing! I just got the buggy today and first off when i opened the box everything was loose and flying around, I'm lucky nothing broke during shipping! Also whoever assembled my rig gave me a front shock in the rear of the car, so know I'm dealing with three short shocks, one long shock and a tilted buggy! (not to mention they leak like crazy, all the fluid was gone after ONE run!) Forcing me to upgrade to hpi's aluminum shocks. Other wise the car was a blast to drive and i think a castle sidewinder micro is in order to really get this thing scootin! If there is anyone else out there with this rig who would like to share any other problems or suggest anything that may help, feel free!!:hehe:

my buddy bought one and he has the same problem.. everything is total garbage
rear diff gear spun off of the shaft twice
broke the shock shaft
broke the dog bones

they look awesome and would be great if they were built like they used to be

Did you call HPI about the issues? I can honestly say after being in the hobby for over 15 years, that HPI and Traxxas have some of the best customer service out there. I do hate to hear about the QC issues though, it was the quality that steered me to HPI back in the day, hence the username.

sorry i havent been on, they were sorta a holes about the dogbones the first time they just told him they dont make them for it anymore
