ok savage x owners...help me out, just got a new 4.6 and was wondering how much stopping room 1 needs this one doesn't actually come to a complete stop...if i got it turned right up it would take about 50yrds to slow er down, i must be able to set em to stop er good.....tell me how...plz

Sounds like your linkage needs some adjustment. The brakes should stop the vehicle easily. Take up all the slack you can without making them drag. I had to add a longer piece of fuel tubing under the adjusting knob on mine.

there is no actual instructions for this either...anyone has a idiot pic would be real helpful...lost totally on this

heres a pic its a little loose in the pic. you can adjust the length of tubing to fix it

so the spring they got in there doesn't actually cut it...toss it aside? and use tubing for a more direct contact?

same here however i kept the spring and add a little fuel tubing to it between the spring and linkage.works great.

put a longer piece of fuel tubing test if it works if it doesn't adjust the knob to the right if that doesn't work turn the screws that press on the brake disc but make sure that when u start with adjusting the screws you flush the little knob to edges and start adjusting from there
