brake/throttle issues...

Hello all...new to this forum and glad I found it!
My first post and I think I foun what I am looking for, just want to make sure...

I'm having issues with my nitro Savage XL. I have the stock setup and I'm thinking I need to do the linkage mod to correct my problem...which is...

When I apply the brake, the throttle linkage moves ever so slightly...but just enough to close my carb and choke my engine off. The brake/throttle thing with the metal spring mechanism(on top of the servo) seems stretched I guess, I don't know.

So, am I looking at the right mod in the sticky section to correct this problem?
If not, how do I fix this problem.

turn the idle screw up till it dos't stall you'll be ok JT

wohoo!....don't know why I didn't think of that b4...but alls good!
she stops on a dime now.....and rockets out of the gates!
