I was running my stock T-Maxx when I noticed that my Maxx would not brake.
I took the body off and saw that the brake disc got rounded off and was skipping. I don't know why this happened since I don't misuse my brakes. What could have caused this to happen? I'm gonna have to purchase another brake disc, should I buy the Robinson Racing 8562 brake kit? :radio:

I'm a little confused on what happend. I think I need to see a pic if ya can get one. but anyways. IMO, replacement is the best time to upgrade. Crazy Nut Racing makes a duel disk brake for the Maxx. It's like $15 shipped... pretty good deal. A lot of people run it.

My Disc break is round for my Nitro Rustler.

I think he is referring to the center. I could not tell you why other than wear. I have the traxxas carbon fiber disk on my T-Maxx and it shows no sign of wear.

Yea it was the center that got rounded off and was skipping.:(

Is the Robinson Racing Brake kit good???
Yes it is. Have used 3 of them on prior maxxes without a problem.
