There has been a recall on the bowflex and I finally received the upgrades for mine. What a pain in the ass.

For something that cost as much as they do, you would think that once you put it together, your through...but hell no!!

I had to disassemble half of the F#$%^R to get the upgades on.

Design poop right the first time...Engineers flat out suck!!!!

You mean BowFlex engineers flatout suck! hehehe

Sorry about the task! I had to take my gym apart once too, what a bitch! Just building it alone took me 12 hours or so! And when I had it moved a few years back, it took them 2 hours TOTAL! That included taking it down, driving it to the new place and setting it back up. Well worth the 100$ it cost me. Had I only known the first time....

Does it work any better now?

LOL ..oh yeah they suck!

It works about the same..it was reinforcement replacement parts. So if i ever move..it will take me longer to take it apart now. I will pay someone 100 bucks to move it for me!!

For any of you that have digital cable TV and watch the Discovery channels, there are probably 200 ads a day for Bowflex, and the've been running constantly for a couple of years now. You paid more for the advertising than for the engineering.

I've got a CrossBow and it's kick ass. Much more range of motion and included options then the BowFlex for less moola.
