boost bottle

i was milling around on tower today and saw a listing for a boost bottle for the savage.. but they didnt have a picture.. anyone know what it is or does or anything?? what is the concept behind it?? thanks again lol

its a little cylinder looks like a little co2 container for bb guns
its suppost to equalize the flow or of fuel or backpressure or something like that..i have not tried one but everyone whos opion i trust says they dont do any good
plus to use it you have to drill a hole in the crankcase of your engine...witch sounds like a VERY bad idea to me

If i remember right they were necessary when Nitro hobby engines were still being perfected and the pressure fluctuations were a headache to deal w/......the newer engines are much more stable and no longer need them.....
