RC Driving Style
I got to put my hands on one of these today. All I can say is boo. I was so terribly dissappointed it isnt even funny. Its so loose, wiggly, and sloppy. It is an absolute joke. Even the hobby store worker said he was dissappointed in the quality. Id take a slash over the strike anyday. It wouldnt hold a candle to the sc10. Losi, I hope you read this and realize people want a quality product, not something to get you in the class. Maybe someone can get one of these and they may drive better than they look/feel, but its not going to see my dime. And to think, I used to race nothing but losi. Boo.

Yeah, I agree. I have not driven one, but judging on the design itself, I had a feeling it would flop. They should have based it on the XXX-T platform and just kept it similar and more race ready like the Blitz and SC10.

I will never buy a Losi vehicle again.
Love lst shocks on my e-savage though!

I've even waited to see one race, but neither hobbystore has even sold one yet! Haha.

I have had 3 bad experiences with 3 bad vehicles. Only platform I may get into someday is the lst2, but I am still gun-shy about Losi.

Well i had a chance to drive one and really loved the performance it put out and i know plenty of people who say the same . I don't count on no ones word about a product if i never tested it out for myself .

I give the strike 2 thumbs up in my opinion . And mine should be in a couple of days can't wait :p

Agreed..I traded a NIB strike for a DX3 radio system to a good friend of and he gave to his dad, and he ran for 1 day @ our track and he had a couple minor issues with it, but not as much as with the blitz's did:eek::p

Since writting the initial thoughts, I have driven almost all the short course trucks available. The only one I have not driven is the jammin. My thoughts are the same. The losi seems to have a lot of slop in the steering. This is even after a servo change. The suspension and shocks are quite nice though I'll admit. The first day my buddy had the truck, he broke one axle and bent the other. After upgrading a few parts we were still about .35 seconds slower than a stock slash. That may bit sound like a lot, but it is in a race. I personally wouldn't buy a strike, however I would convert a xxxt.

I have been running Losi products for years and i have to say the Strike was just not ready to hit the market. I purchased one raced it once repaired it and sold it. I hate to say it's just not the normal quality i was use to from Losi.

I think I saw yours on craigslist. There was a black one one there a while ago with 323 stickers on it. Just about everyone I know has sold their strikes.that should tell ya something. Most were diehard losi fans

I love my lst and I have to say the guys at the track seem to be dissapointed with the strike and now the are on sale at my LHS for 139.99 rtr cause no one wants them I drove one and didn't mind it seem to be a truck you would have to get used to and do lots of upgrades to but for someone who just wants one torun in driveway it maybe a good truck idk just my opinion

fuel for my fire

I'm so sick and tired of ppl demolishing the strike with their words. i race my stike every week and I've never broke a thing or even lost a drip of oil. I'm very consistant in laps and finishes. why dose every one hate this balanced and durable sct?
