I'm havin a problem. When i fire up my truck, it runs awsome and everything. As soon as the truck gets up to e decent temp, it starts to bog down at full throttle. From idle to mid throttle its good, just the full throttle it bogs. If i let it cool for a fews mins and try again, same thing, full throttle is boggy. Do i need a hotter or cooler plug or what? It sux wen u wana hit a jump and only get half throttle. Help please!!!

It sounds like your high speed needle is lean....the engine may be starving for fuel. Try running a richer setting.

I agree, it sounds more like it is starving for fuel rather than bogging. Try and richen up the hsn a little and see if that helps.

Iv tried richening it up but dosent seem to help. Anyways i blew my 52t spur and i puton the 47t now i can't get the motor close enough to the spur gear to get a good mesh. Checked my plate and its good as well asmymotor mounts. This was happening before and then i went to A 52t and it lasted awhile(blew it out on a rough landing).

are you running a nitro star 25. factory is 49t spur gear with a 15 tooth clutch bell. i used to have a 25 then upgraded to the f4.6, with a 17t clutch and a 49t steel spur

the 4.6 has a 17 tooth cluth with a 47t steel spur, I also have a f4.6 and I run a 17t clutch with a 49t spur, and it has plenty of torque for the gravel pit hill climbs and lots of top end for just rippn with my buddy:)

Well i jb welded my carb on cuz i was havin trouble so i know its not leakin from there. Where else can it leak, backplate?

correct on the possible leak, I totally sealed my 4.6 with thermostat housing sealant. NO jb weld , what happens if you want to remove carb. You should watch Squirells videos on Youtube. Sorry I don;t have a link

It's ok now. The motor that I was havin trouble with is a smashed in prices. Got a lrp.28 now
