i just bought a tmaxx for my son we have ran 1 gallon of fual though it and can't seem to get it tuned right it booges and stalls and will not start back up let it seat for 5 min and it starts and runs the same is this a tuning prob or not thanks for any help

i bought my son a tmaxx and having no luck it had 1 gal ran though it it bogges and stalls it just started doing this about 3 tanks ago my son is 13 and can't keep from messing with it did he do something to it or is this a tuning prob. the place i bought it from does not work on them can anyone please help thank you for any help

i bought my son a tmaxx 2.5 we have 1 gal of fual though it it ran great it started bogging about 3 tanks ago my son can't keep his hands off it tring to tune it not knowing what he is doing . it will run for 2 min and starts bogging and stalls and will not start let sit for 5 min and starts back up but funs the same is this a tuning problem or did he do somthing to it the hooby shop i got it at does not work on them and no help can i get any input please thank you

Did you go through the Traxxas Break-in process? I would guess that your mixture settings are rich overall if it's bogging and stalling.
 
I would put in a brand new plug and set all the needles back to the factory settings.

This will give you a starting point.
 
i put a new glow and comp. washer i can't find the factory settings so i put highspeed at 4 and went 1/8 turns in runing it each time turning 1/8 turn with no change does anyone know the settings for the 2.5
 
High speed 4 turns out from closed.

Low speed flush with end of yellow slide barrel.
 
A good setting for the lowspeed is 1 & 3/4. I had the same problem with mine at first and I called traxxas and they said to put the lowspeed needle at 1 & 3/4. I had it flush at the beginning and that wasn't no where near what it needed to be.
