I bought my revo from a friend for 200 and it was only used 3 times. But he had no paperwork or info on the truck. How can i figure out which model i have?

If you could post up a couple pictures of it with no body on I could tell you. Any chance you could do that tonight?

I can't right now i dont have my camera at this moment. I will as soon as i can though. Is there anything in paticular i could tell you that would narrow it down or really need the pics?
 
How big is the fuel tank 125cc or 150cc (shld say on there)
Is that radio gear 2.4ghz (also should say on your controller)
Do you have 17mm hex hubs for your wheels or the little 14mm..??

But pics wld definatly confirm :)

It has the 150cc tank and i believe the 17mm hubs. It came with the polished tune pipe if that helps and I'm not sure about the controller. I will try and post some pics.
 
To me it is sounding like the newest revo 3.3 which is the newer 5309 edition. But still, the pictures would put some closure to it.
 
Yes, Unless its been upgraded its the newer 5309...

Do you have an antenna the sticks through the body...???
Or a short stubby one that stays inside the body..??

Same as the one on your controller....
Is the antenna a long silver one...??
Or a short black one..??

The shorter one is a 2.4ghz
 
At first glance I wld have said the the older 5309...
The newer 5309 definatly has 2.4ghz radio...
Its a bit silly but there is two 5309's

But then i see there is a FOC kit installed But its not a Revo Platnium...
So it clould possibly be the 5308 with some little extras added...

Can Anyone else shed some light... I'm definatly NO guru :)

PS.. On your body do the wheel arches flare out..?? And more importanly is the bonnet flat or does it some mean lookin cruves on it.. like a small scoop but with no air intake hole... If any of that makes sence :)
 
looks like the 5308 model ...( no reverse ..and just 1 steering servo ) and those tires dont come on the 5309( if I'm right ) ...but they do on the 5308 ;)

how long is the chassis ???

Check uot these two manuals i have....
I think the older 5309 have the older tires and rims and the newer 5309 has the Geodes...
 
I am no expert, but looks like the 5308 version
if i am not mistaken the 5308 also came factory with forward only, as it has no opti-drive.........
