My truck is running great now but now that I am doing jumps off snow banks onto pavement it has some very hard roll overs resulting in some breaks in the body. I have patched it up with epoxy glue and duct tape. What is the best way to do repairs to the body.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a roll cage? Do they go under the body or instead of the body.

i run my rigs. and i will tell you that a .60 wil last twice as long as a regular body.. but just like everything else its gona break. I'm just not a fan of shoe glue and duct tape..

this trick is the same concept as the shoe goo and tape, but i think its a bit stronger. try using the mesh sheet rock tape thats available at most hardware/home repair or paint stores. you can cut the tape into strips and apply it to the corners or other areas that tend to crack first. once you have the tape set in place, apply the shoe goo and spread it thru the mesh tape with a stiff brush or your finger. once the goo hardens you should be set. I did this to a rubicon body on my original savage and it lasted quite a while. and we all know how the rubicon bodies cracked with those hard square corners.
hope this helps

i read an article from this guy who paints cars (i forget his name) but he said to put some shoe goo on the crack than get some fiberglass sheeting and put that over it, than apply another thin layer of shoe goo over the fiberglass sheet and it should be super heavy duty...hope that helps

why use shoe goo? If you used epoxy resin it would be way stronger would it not? I mean guys make boats out of epoxy and fiberglass. and boat repairs, thats right, epoxy and fiberglass. not to dis you or anything but I personally think epoxy would be way better. I suppose it wasn't u, u just passed the info on. please, correct me If i'm wrong though.

correct me If i'm wrong though

Okay, I'll correct you. Yes, it will work, but it's hard and brittle when it's cured, just like the hull of a boat. It can also separate and peel paint. Shoe Goo is there for good.
Once you've used Shoe Goo and fiberglass tape, you'll never do it any other way.
I'm about to do it to my Rubicon BEFORE it gets damaged. I had one on a Tmaxx, and the back corners really get ripped.

sho goo will be the best way to repair a body and as soon as you get a new body use the shoe goo and lexan before u run it also you can wire up the body
