Body lowering question

I’m looking for suggestions for lowering a T Maxx body without loosing a substantial amount of shock travel.

why did you want to lower a monster truck? why would you buy a MT and try to lower it?????????

Reduce resistance, it's for my hybrid. Actually every MT that I own or have owned has been setup as low to groung as possible. A-arms extend almost level to the ground. Jumping and wheelies are fun but it won't turn corners.

Do you just want to lower the body or the whole thing? Can't you just lower the body by lowering the body posts?? If you're looking to lower the chassis, what about the ProLine conversion? That has a lot more shock mounting options that can bring the chassis down..

I'll tell you why. Because lots of people like my friends and I who've put lots of $$$$ into our trucks would like a lower center of gravity for better control and especially for less rolls on and off road. I wouldn't want it permanetly lowered and IMHO that's the only thing worth spending the big bucks on the UE Arms as you can adjust them for jumping, road dirt racing and totally slammed for pure road.

StretchM - My buddy did it but it is permanent for the most part. I'll get back to you soon.

The one that I'm reffering to has the full proline kit on it. The body posts are as low as they will go in front to point that I had to cut off an inch or two to get them to fit. You know that I'm probably dreaming again....

take the stock posts and cut them super short and don't use the plastic braces that connect the two together. heck latley I've been zip tieing my body right to my shock towers to get my body low enough for my liking. I can start mine on the box without taking the body off so its no big deal for me.
