Well I'm boared so i thought id ask what yall think of the wheels I'm going to get once i ge the money. I Have nothing to do this winter and it sucks, i may have to run the buggy ne way even with these low temps at 45-50 man i think I'm going to freeze LoL, JK. Hey why dont all you other buggy guys list your hopups/modes that your going to be doing this winter. Id love to here all the ideas and hopup lists.

think rebuild is more of the order for mine. til then i'll run the truck if its decent, but prolly moreso inside at the indoor track. my hyper is mostly finished its full rebuild and repair thus far. just need 2 address the motor issue. need 1. dont wanna spend alot, but want somethin that does get some good # of gallons thru it b/c rebuildin i see on most of the motors isnt cheap and considerin most say they die quicker after the rebuild anyway or the rod goes. almost feel like just ditchin it and gettin another.

as far as the buggy goes, i dont wanna b cold so not even street tires (well bald stocks) will matter. she wont hit the ground runnin til i can run the crime fighters again.

good luck w/urs. plastic susp parts in winter. less 4givin now...let alone engine tune.

Iv heard good things about the MP777, hope it goes well for ya. Hey UltegraSTI How much are you planing on spending on an engine? Iv heard great things about the Wasp .28, thats the engine I'm put in in my buggy when it dies. I wishi had a indoor track to drive, o wait i wish i had a track to drive on, this town doesn't have a track at all they all just get together in a parking lot on the second week of every month.

well gotta stay legal, so its 21 or else. hear great things bout RB and of course NR family...but they might get 1 gallon or so more. and are as expensive to rebuild if not more (people say needs a rod as well as P/S)...which gets into territory where it doesn't makee sense 2 rebuild it, just dump a new lump in.

I havnt heard of any killer .21 engines or id recomend one to you, you prolly have an engine in mind ne way, Havnt heard to much on NR or RB. good luck on a good find.

I'm seriously considering the S72 not the Ws72, basically the same engine with a little different timing and some poop on the crank. You can get those for about 225-235, and if you want to mod it it will kill a stock ws72, with the mod your still ahead of the game right around 300 where the cheapest ws72 i've found is about 305.

iv never heard of that engine b/f but i havnt heard of many engines so. WHat ever it isi sounds great, hope it goes well.

300 4 an engine, uh no. even if it does get 4-5 gallons, u spend 150 or more 2 rebuild it. and i'ev heard they dont last near as along on that rebuild anyway.

I'm with Ult, shoot it would be hard for me to even give up 250$ my price range is 150-200$. And only 4-5 Gallons, What ever floats your boat.

i talked with rb mods about are track and things and the s72 is what he recommended,he says you can get 9 min a tank with great controlable power at low engine temps.he said the great thing bout this motor is after 4 or 5 gallons and power drops you just increase temp to 220 then youll have a new motor again and then after a few more gallons increase to 250 and your good for a few more gallons without losing power.I'm trying to decide between this s7 or a vspec, just can't decide.

WOW! Thanks for the info, and all thats interesting you just keep getting it hotter after so many gallons. Sounds interesting

I have the OS vspec and it has been great so far (1 gallon ), of course being new to the market it still has to prove itself.

If you want low budget performance, I would suggest a Hyper 8 Port. I think they go for around $120, and those that I've seen at the track seem pretty strong.

I was thinking Wasp .28 for the buggy on my sig but that will be a while cuz my .21 i have in it just finished one gallon. I just got this buggy from my bro for 100$, only one gallon and its awesome, gotta love the price.
