Hello all,
I have one question. I never saw track with surface "blue groove". I can not found any translations to my languague and I can not imagine which kind of surface the "blue groove" is.
Can please anybody explain me which kind it is. If you can provide photos for better iamgine, I will be very glad.
Thanks you.

This is a good example of blue a blue groove track. See how dark it is in the middle of the turn?
Blue groove is when you run on a track ALOT. Its really well packed dirt mixed with rubber.

vbgagnon, thank you very much. Your explanation is perfect. Now I understand what the blue groove is :)
Thanks a lot :ale:

They have it correct.
They call it "BLUE" "GROOVE" because the Hard dirt surface gets shiny. With the Black from the tires on top of the brown, it will look BLUE in the GROVES the tires make. When you see it you will know exactly what it is. Its unmistakable.

A "RED GROOVE" Is when you hit the turn marshal and his blood mixes with the brown dirt in the track grooves. :D

Hey, that's good joke :)
We have no track with blue grooves, so, I never will try it. Now when I know what it is, I can say, we have not.

here's a track that was still being worked on. They completely removed the old dirt and brought in fresh. You can see it is already drying out but hasn't turned blue yet. Normally blue groove tracks have a very high clay content or are all clay. That is why it dries up and cracks like it does. Very little "dirt" in the mix.
