RC Driving Style
I blew my engine....need a new one. I am thinking about the pico 27 and the Fantom 27. NE1 have experience with eather of these engines?? Also links would be greatly appreciated!

i i threw in the picco .26 from my friends Savage and it kicked ASS! it made the lag a ton better and the top end way amazing. I think i am gunna go with the picco .27 because it should act similar to the .26 also an estimated 34,000 rpm!
 
I wouldn't recommend the Fantom .27, as a friend just bought one a few weeks back and blew it within a few days. Seems Plaid had a simuler problem.
 
Wait, I heard somewhere that the picco .26 is the same as a sportwerks .26, and something about a fantom being about the same?? Why not get another sportwerks .26; they seem to be nice engines.
 
becuse i want to try something different also i tryed the picco and it is a LOT faster!

here is how my engine blew in ne1 cares:

yea srry there was no story involved i was kinda pissed and i was kinda in a rush. here is what happned, i was driving (duh) an all of the sudden i compleatly lost control at full throttle. The buggy came right at me and i had to jump so that it wouldnt hit me. After that it hit the largest jump at the track backwards. It flipped over and was at full throttle for about 15 secounds. During this puriod i was running across the trarck trying to hit the flywheel. i finally got it stopped and i was at like 427 degrees or sumthin crazy like that. i let it kool to air temp and cheched my fail safe witch was working fine, my friend and i concluded that a government spy satalight ceated the interfierence. I tryed starting the engine back up once it kooled down and i needed a new plug, i put one in and it sounded like a truck tring to start, I thought it was just the wrong plug but later i found out that the connection rod had expanded during the run-away and broken this little washer thing that created havoc.

thats my story and thanks for the input.

Man that sucks. Be sure to check for the black helicopters circling overhead the next time you run your buggy. Wearing a tin-foil hat sometimes helps but fit a throttle return spring, just to be on the safe side.
 
Alright, maybee a body made of tin foil 2 lol
 
if its all junk I'll give you 10.00 plus shipping I would just like to play with it a little. I dont want to do any playing to any of my running engines.
 
EVERYTHING is scrached up. Its kinda kool to have around just so you can explain to people how an engine works.
 
I ordered the Picco .27 and i comes with a pull start. Any one know where i can find a roto-start conversion? links would be greatly appreciated!
