Better luck next time..

Damn trees! they just jump right out in front of you, lol. The RPM arms seemed to hold up well though. Time to upgrade to some RC Solutions bulkheads, and rpm bulkhead braces.

Would that replace the stock output yokes? I haven't been able to find an upgraded output yoke for the e-maxx.

And yet the RPM stuff survives to bash another day!

If only RPM made bulkheads...

I sent an email to RPM and they have made bulkheads but they said that their were weaknesses that they were working out.then they said they will have bheads soon.

About time they made bulkheads. But its alittle too late cause I already got aluminum ones from acncm.

You will still need them the bulks you are running now will just bend :smoke:

I wasn't joking when I said to get some RC Solutions bulks. I bent a titanium skid plate running at Boggy Creek, no damage at all to my bulks or pins. These bulks kick ass!

Actually, I got a bit different response from RPM when I inquired about bulkheads. Here's an exerpt:

As for bulkheads for the T/E-Maxx, they are in consideration, although the more we look at them, the more we are seeing inherent design flaws that could be fatal even to an RPM part. If we can find a way around those flaws, I'm sure you'll see bulkheads from RPM, but at this point, there isn't anything we can do to solve those problems.
If we can't make a product that we can honestly say will not break, we would rather not release it than to risk potentially damaging our reputation for bulletproof parts with a product that would be marginal at best. I hope you understand our position on this subject.
Take care and thank you for your interest and support of RPM products. If you have any other questions or comments, please feel free to send us another e-mail.

Until then, I guess my Great Assemblies 7071 Bulks will have to suffice.

I got that same e mail but i did not want to have it all written out

Yeah, isnt that the truth, lol. I finally broke one too many plastic bulks and decided to go with aluminum. I was out the other day bashin, hit a drainage tube that i didnt see and bent my aluminum bulk. Noooooo lol. Ripped the brace and the skid right off. Anyhoo, hopefully RPM will start sellin their bulks soon. You can't beat that warranty!!

Hi I have alloy bumpers and bulkheads but i choose not to use them cos everytime i had a front ender it found the weakest link which was the screws that held them together and snapped em so I swapped it all back to plastic which gives me a little bit more flex..

lightning looks like you tried to strike that tree with a lightning bolt of T-Maxx lol bummer deal man I havent really ran My Maxx much yet but I'm sure I will have similar pics I already snapped my front body mount and that was the second time I ran it I also beat the hell out of the cooling head it now has some serious road rash lol the fins got smashed together but I was able to straighten them out have fun and good luck with the new bulkheads that you decide to use
