well finally the weather has gotten better in NY to the point where i could drive my t-maxx. Snow had melted, dried up a little, nice 50 plus degrees. So i take my t-maxx out splash some nice fresh MHP fuel in the tank, brand new OS #8 glow plug. turn the electronics on, out the body on, put the glow charger on. give it a few yanks wont start, so i prime it again, few more pulls.. nothing.. so i start getting frustrated. i take the body off, looking to see what is wrong... fuel line isnt hooked to the carb.. . I took it off before i stored it for the winter and forgot to put it back on. So i put that back on and i was good to go. thought i would share my blonde moment today. :shhh:

Glad you got it solved. I am hoping to get my Savage and Storm back together this week so I can start enjoying some of this nice weather. :)

Finally got my maxx up and running brought it to work the past few days/nights. We got a ball field next to my work so while we had down time I was blasting around the baseball field where they were layin new dirt. Thank god for spring/summer/fall. Blah to winter

Man, I don't what ya'll's moma has been tellin' ya! :jk: But I am MAD:angry: that winter is over! If u get ur electronics waterproofed, snow kicks summer, fall, and spring's @$$!! I hate this boring street I have to drive on with a friken 4wd T-maxx!! Just notin to do anymore!:read:

Or you can pull one of my stunts, forget to stick the glow igniter on the plug....

Or mine, I was all geared up. Got the batteries charged; put the car on the bumpstart, stuck the glowplug on ... yadda yadda yadda. I was wondering why it wouldn't start, I even blew into the stinger (wasn't paing too much attention ... you'll see why) and NOTHING! did everything by the book, checked and rechecked. I should've checked more, I forgot to put fuel in the tank. I put fuel in the fuel bottle but in all my excitement, I forgot to put some fuel in the fuel tank!:ha:

Ta Da Maxx- i hate the winter.. too cold and too much snow. besides the snow is usually too soft to drive on. i got lots of room to run my t-maxx, plus a sand pit which is awsome right about now with all the mud. maby u could try getting a couple of those plastic skateboard jumps, i got one and it works good.

Driver 6127- Nice one, i dont think i have done that, yet. lol. i remember when i got my forst nitro, a Nitro Hawk, i didnt know what i was doing, turned on the switch on the truck, put fuel in got it started on my first pull, set the truck done and waaaaa it was gone... forgot to turn the remote on.. there is goes WOT... into a tree, then it gets jammed under a tree branch and boom.. there goes the con rod...:( then on got on eBay and bought a Nitro Stampede.. got that a couple days later.. made sure i turned on the remote, and i have been hooked on Nitro ever sence..

Anyone have anyother good stories to tell? we promise we wont laugh too hard..

I have to loosen the plug to get my new Sirio started and the other day, I got it started and forgot to tighten it back down again. I took off across the field and it got about 100 feet away and just died. The plug fell right out and was nowhere to be found.

How come they always die or run out of gas all the way on the other side of the field?

putting the differentials in backwards... only make that mistake once.

forgetting to use locktite on those ever so important screws....

getting your truck back together with screws and washers left over is NEVER a good thing, but I'm always to lazy to take it all back apart and figure out what i left off, so i just run it anyway
