Too bad its heavy though.

That's the reason I put in the 3 speed. Just like a big Bentley sedan, the more weight, the smoother the ride. I'm a fast driver, not a basher so it will be fine. All I need now is the 'steady cam' for some video proof that it actually runs.

Whoa, are you SERIOUS? Mine just hit 16 lbs without fuel, on a digital scale.

Wow.

Now I am going to have to weigh my 5B. I am sure you are approaching it's weight.

I'll get them when they lap me. Lol

Speaking of weight, I looked everywhere last night and can't find what the weight would be on a stock Savage. Anyone know?

My Savage X SS shipped at 16 lbs for the kit, so I would guess that the truck weighs somewhere close to that with the battery pack and fuel, because it should even out for all the extra stuff that was in the box for the kit.

Are you sure you don't want it to be brushless?

Sweet, now I can make my Savage brushless when I decide to do the conversion instead of buying a lil ole revo just to do the conversion.

I have three words for ya...

Reinforced shelf brackets! =devil

LMAO! Tempered glass and stainless steel tubes. Works so far.

Remember, I've hit 16 lbs without the rotostart, tools, spare parts and whatever else was in the box. This is just the truck.

Nah, he just keeps it to think he's still in the 70's and young.

Rolex I think you're finished. Get that thing DIRTY!

I'll second this; and dust don't count, either. I wanna see that Savage just oozing with mud.

Look at it this way; get it dirty, and you'll have an excuse to take it apart and clean it thoroughly.

Excellent! That's all the incentive I need to go run it. Thanks, man!

Dude, is that a lava lamp? Grow up. :)
It's a 'retro' thing.

Today's riddle:

If Less is more, is Lessen a Moron? LMAO!!!

Damn, you and ImBroken, the bling queens. Damn it, you two need to put fuel in your overly hopped up shelf queens and actually drive them! Wow, what a concept. :D

I think I am going out in the yard right now and fire up my Savage, because I actually drive mine! :boxing:

Are you serious? You mean you take it OUT of the house?
I just can't believe it!!! Now I REALLY have something to look forward to!

Do you recommend pressure treated lumber for that outside shelf?

How about I beams covered with diamond plate.

Do you recommend pressure treated lumber for that outside shelf?

You will most likely want to use 4x4s, or if you want to be safe, go with 6x6s, and maybe some 3/4 inch ply, two layers. And yes, for outside you will definitely want to go with pressure treat.

LMAO! Have you ever worked with pressure treated lumber? By the time I'm done, the shelf will actually outweigh the truck!
