Just found this little thing today. Didn't know if anyone here had seen it. Maybe some of you light heli flyers will be interested. I've been reading about it and it looks to be promising. Still a tail motor though.

Great. For those of us with minor heli addictions, this is just gonna be hard to walk away from.

I may have to pick one of these up and graduate from my MCX.

I won't feel so bad when I destroy one of these little guys.

Dangit bulldog, I may just have to get one of these now.

I'd go MSR route first, as a stepping stone since this is a full on CP heli. That's just my advice though, after having done the heli thing all backwards myself, I started with a CP heli. :whhooo:

You are probably right.

I'll definately have one. Nothing like inverted hovers in my living room.

And its flybarless. Don't forget that.

I definitely want one, just don't need to buy one. :D I'll probably wait and see how E Flite handles the launch, and whether or not it's the same huge mess they've made with past product launches though.

Amain has a preorder button. Just click that.

Fast forward to 9:45 in this vid from the R/Cast for more info and an interview with James Haley from E Flite. After watching it, I'm sold on the X and it's MSR like durabliity, and I'll be getting the first one my LHS gets on the shelf. This may be THE heli that lures me back into CP helis, and lets me learn them without all the time spent getting everything set back up after a crash. Thanks for the tip off on this one bulldog, this thing's gonna be awesome!

It looks like this is the next step after I master my mSR.

A couple new vids with E Flites James May at the sticks. Man this heli looks more impressive in every vid that filters out. It's nice that here, you can hear the head speed and get an idea of the power it has. Granted, it's a good pilot at the controls, but hey, at least this way I don't have to round everything up and drive somewhere to crash. :hehe:

You can hear the little rotors humming a bit.

Another vid of the one of the designers throwing it around in a conference room.

I'm totally going to have to eat my words, I'll have the first one my LHS gets in stock. :D

This guy is testing an MCP for E Flite. This is the most promising video I've seen yet, check out the crash at the 2:11 mark. He said he spent 30 seconds snapping the guide back in the bracket (like the MSR) and re-installing the canopy and was back to flying. It hits HARD! There's some really nice flying in there too.
